Na'in (also transliterated Naeen),is a city in central Iran.
It has one of the earliest remaining mosques in Iran, and has a Sassanid era fort, now in ruins, called Narin Ghal'eh.
It extensively uses ab anbars, and has a population of less than 70,000 persons.
Masjed e Jame' Naeen, or The congregation mosque of Naeen is one of Iran's oldest mosques.
It is dated to the 9th century. The interiors however are Seljuki in brick craftsmenship, and therefore allude to the 11th century.
