Just seeing the concentration of salt in the rock... I'm not surprised there is no fish here.. Even when i eat one, there is not the same quantlty of salt :o)

That rock is fascinating by his shape. From the thumbnail i believe it was some small explosion on water like we can see during military practice. The white part help to believe it of course!

Very interesting subject to shoot. Nature never ceases to amaze me with it's beautiful colors and forms.

Two things I would do here:

Fix the horizon tilt.
Boost the colors, especially in the rock thing

Yes, I agree. The horizon line is off and could be 1/3 more in the top of the frame.

This was the first photo I have seen in a while that fooled me as to what it was. I thought it was an underwater explosion. I was very surprised when I opened the thumbnail for a closer view. Very interesting body of water. There is a place similar in the US called the Great Salt lake in Utah. There are no rock islands like this though. TFS

Wow, when I first looked at it in thumbnail form, I though it was some kind of explosion. Colors are very nice and the white color contrasts very well with the blues.

When I saw the thumbnail in this one, it looked like a Mushroom cloud. Simple compositions with a strong subject seem to be your strength. Nice clear light on this one too.

What a great observation.
From the thumbnail it looks like an explosion from a detonated bomb underneath the surface.

I would just level it a bit.
