Arbil Bazaar

Again the bustlin' Arbil Bazaar at night.
What struck me here in Kurdistan was the immense politeness and hospitality of people. Never saw anything like that before. Whereas in other parts of the wolrd photogaphy can be an even dangerous struggle, here in Kurdistan people actually want to be photographed !Nobody said 'no' or asked for money when I asked them if I could portray them. Thumbs up, a big smile, that was it.
Again difficult light, so shot on ISO 1600 without tripod. IN PP worked a little on the colours and for neatness sake, because on 1600 ISO you get a lot of grain, Iranit through neatimage.
Hope you like it.

I like the quirkiness of this shot, the serious demeanour of the shopkeeper and the incredibly traditional layout of the store - it's quaint and somehow delightful.
Nice job with the high ISO and the post work to rescue it. :)
Rew
I certainly agree with rewshearer. Also a bit of claustrophic athmosphere. Strange, but i like this style. Technically easy, but a lot to see and think and talk of. GREAT!!
