It looks like an Australian gum or eucalyptus tree. Interesting repetitive patterns, & fantastic dof & sharpness. Tfs!
Hi David, as Chris says it looks very much like a eucalypt of some sort. The trees with bark that peels like that always have lovely colours and textures. Good detail, colour and sharpness. TFS,

The snails look quite animated! Terrific texture and shapes, with fascinating opportunities for using the imagination. I wish I could touch it, too:) Great find!
