Persian cats overall are excellent pets, they adapt to living indoors very well, therefore they are an excellent house cat for busy people. Persians have a relax temperament, which makes them a good choice for children. Persians are instantly recognizable from other cats, due to their thick fur coats, also their faces are much flatter than a normal cat which can cause breathing problems. A Persians fur coat comes in many variations or colors, within competitions, persons are divided into seven groups depending on the colors of their eyes.
Persian Cats are the most popular cat breed today, however they are some drawbacks to Persians, for example a Persians fur is very long and thick, Persian cats need regular brushing from their owners. To help prevent knots etc, they must be bushed regularly, washed, and then dried. Also Persians eyes are required to be checked, to ensure they are clean because Persians may have difficulty keeping them clean.

Great ontribution to the Friday Theeme! :) Really nice portrait of this appearantly lazy cat, th texture of th background and the frame is impressive, too. Good sharpness and details, lovely colours. I think the square crop was the best choise for the composition. Great job! TFS.

What a great capture of fur and face!
Excellent textural details!
I love how the fabric matches the colour of Floyd's fur.
