LOWEST PLANT ON EARTH - Take II.

I went to the Dead Sea again, and I found, these amazing plants again.

I tried to repeat this picture again, and I took many photos, but no one could reach the original. I was too upset, so I played with it, pushing PP far, and this is the result.

It is not the same as the original, but it is very special IMO.

Hi Yitzhak,

Very nice reflections capture!! Nice symmetrical composition. I guess, you can work on removing the noise in the picture (My vote for NeatImage). TFS.

Exquisite:) This is hauntingly beautiful. Terrific color...it gives a wonderful soft yet eerie quality to this image. The frame is PERFECT! It becomes part of the whole effect, and enhances the overall look dramatically. Superb work! (I like it so much I added it to my screensaver.)

I remember the first 'take' very well, Yitzhak. The first one was 'more empty' - this one has a foreground and background. But it is the colours in this one that makes it special in its own right. Well captured and framed.

Like you, I like the original better. But, without reference to the original, this one is good. It's surreal with the green colour. It's hard to see the surface of the water, where reality stops and reflection begins.

The link in this photo led me to your gallery on TE, there's several photos there I'd like to critique but I am not a member there. I especially enjoyed the empty Tel Aviv beach cafe.
