Certainly beautiful pic, David. You only could have stopped down a bit to get better DOF, but the patterns of the veins of the dry flower are beautiful.

It does look quite interesting ... the patterns on the flower "petals" are beautiful but I wish there was more DOF.

I have seen things similar to this when I was a kid. I really like that detail you were able to capture in this. It looks like an intricate carving. Wonderfully captured, sharp detail. I like the look of the monochromatic look. TFS
