Dear Tibi,
yes its shape of reflecting body looks very smart. surely high-tech planes, trains etc. are often made after the model of the natural living creature, both are very reasonable in dynamics. also this shape like mosquito is very similar to "mosquito"(forceps for operation).
the color contrast between brown and yellow is nice to my eyes.

Hi Tibi,

It does not look like you nailed the focus on the eyes of the little fellow.
One possible reason if you are shooting from the hand is that if the camera is in AF-S it might lock focus and you then might just move the camera very slightly before pressing the shutter completely and hereby moving the focus point to another object.

So what focus mode are you using?

Maybe a conflict between the close up lens and the Sigma Tibi? Still very good focus on the insect and good colour. TFS,
