[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A very far from abstract red amaryllis is in bloom in the garden. It constituted a good subject for the "Abstract Symmetry" theme.

For taking the shot, I had to find an angle so that both the pistil and as many as possible of the stamina should be in a plane (so that they should fit into the shallow DOF).
The PP work consisted in superimposing a rotated version over the initial one and carefully erasing the unwanted parts (in fact I used more than one copy of each layer to be able to cope with overlaps)

Tough challenge to get all the plants stuff in the same plane - really gives an interesting look - you managed the DOF problem. They look like some dry cereal bursting in the air.

Dear Tibi,
an artistic red space in the flower,
anthers with yellow pollen look like space ships and the white top of the pistil looks like the mark of electron orbit in atom.
in the red universe or on the red sun, we will be burnt soon...

A nice natural abstract. Well put together.
I like the focus on many of the staminas. They look like breakfast cereal ;-) The curves and DoF choice improve on the abstract. Well done. TFS. K2
