[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another picture of ants taking care of their aphids, this time on a thistle. I start to enjoy this subject and one of the things I will probably try is a composite shot to gain more DOF.
There are lots of aphids on the picture, but being gray in colour, you need to look carefully to make them out

Like yesterday ant posting, it is a tough exposure here with the differing heights - ant and the central theme seem to me to better captured here that in the last one. Keep them coming.

dear Tibi,
this is a wonderful macro view.
like in one another world, like your previous two shots.
in this picture, the contrast between radiating violet sharp flowers and active round "ants and aphids" is excellent, the flowers look like beautiful columns or trees in their world.
