[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Tis picture of a hibiscus flower from my garden is another technical experiment. In order to have the high DOF, four different images were merged together. It is a rather tedious technique and it requires the subject to be immobile. To this purpose, I ended up taking the picture of one of the fallen flowers that I could fix it with a clamp.
One of the four exposures (taken each with a slightly different setting of the focus) is in the workshop.

dear Tibi,
a very interesting experiment.
the merging looks natural and the effect is beautiful to my eyes. the DOF of your result makes mysterious macro space in this image.
of course the lighting and the composition of "light and shadow" are well balanced.
a wonderful success, cograturations!

Hi Tibi
Quite a project both with the D 300 and your computer to get this to work. Could have no movement and looks like you were fighting the lighting. I'll say it was a success - your layers of DOF. Don't I'll stry this one. My hats off to you though.

Wow Tibi, really a great experiment, colors details and sharpen really great

this is a good technique i use allot but i tend to clone in the focused areas from 2-3 shots onto one thus maintaining control of the dof. also try picassa a free Google picture editing prog that lets you overlay multiple images without the effort.
