Mmm...Your experiments not only look good they taste good too ;) Very nice indead Yitzhak. The only thing bothering me a bit here is the white line. Mabye that could be cloned away, with lets say 50% strength on the clone tool so that it is still there, just not so obvious?

A Corny experiment ;-) Sorry - its great and looks very tasty - would love to taste right away - this must mean you got fresh corn where you lives - Spring just started here - so we will have to wait.

Hopefully the project succed well -thanks for sharing Yitzhak.

So shiny and so vibrant yellow - it looks fine Yitzhak...hope it tasted the same too..;-) Seems even when being hungry< your mind keeps being very creative! Great idea and result!

I like the boldness of the light and the color. The harsh highlights seem to give this special appeal. The straightforward composition works well, too. It's like an emotional, scientific study, so your title fits!

I could just sink my teeth into this. What a creative subject. The colours are good and true. Like the little space between the segments as it adds some extra life. Nice border. Good angle.

This is my favorite food. I just love corn and this close up makes me hungry. Would be better if sharper.
I have a corn photo too, will post it tomorrow to share my corn with you :-)

Funny note and interesting shot of a yummy subject. You didn't put butter on it yet ? Dripping butter on the corn might be interesting too.

Wonderful shot Yitzhak. Love the colors, composition, and framing. Makes me hungry for sure. We grow corn, and I can't wait... Great note too... :-)

Moi je préfère l'épi de maïs grillé sur des charbons ardents, ça sent bon et c'est délicieux.
J'ai l'impression sur cette photo que le maïs est protégé sous film plastique d'où le reflet du flash sur les grains.

I prefer corn grilied on burning coals, that smells good and they is delicious. I have the impression on this photograph which the corn is protected under plastic film we see the reflection of the flash on the grains.

Very good macro shot. I wish it is also sharp on top as it is at the bottom. I like your framing too. Thanks.

Well, not exactly to my liking, flat and unfocused, oversharpened, nothing to make variation to the monotone rhythm, sorry to say it didn't light my candle. Notes are funny though, a light green for them.

Ah, corn - great. Very yellow, very shiny, and - not surprising to come from you - a fine pattern. Very humorous notes as well. I wonder what that white line above the 2nd row from the bottom is though ... Oh, never mind. Nicely done, Yitzhak.

Really original and funny way to write a note for this simple but splendid picture! Yellow is an appealing color, and, I heard that this color "open the apetite" (means give envy to eat). Very nice macro shot! well done. The light seem a bit too strong for me, or maybe you push a little to far the contrast... would like to compare with the original shot. Good idea to show us this detail anyway!

Funny note, this looks like a huge sweet corn still covered in cling film(?) - which gives it extra shine. I hear what torben is saying about the focus etc; technically not the best of your shots but still a very good one, quite a departure from your rust shots! Well captured.

great picture and a great note you've put beside ;-). It's almost like the mais is going to pop out of there.

seems like you did a bit of plastic wrap effect on this one, but it must be the natural structure of this fine cinema-food...

A great shot, Yitzhak, accompanied by a humorous note. Nice texture and a beautiful bright yellow. Well framed.

Hi Yitzhak, I think I would have liked it more without the "white little thing". It disturbs the repeating patterns for me. Otherwise fine picture and funny note :)
Yours, Jan
