Salut!
Je ne comprend pas pourquoi poster une photo de salade?!?!
Ou est le message,l'intrigue et la beauté?!
Ce midi,j'ai mangé une salade!
Mouais,pas vraiment emballé quoi!

Bonne continuation!

Wow, this is a mess!
The green and orange are nice contrasts but the red of the tomatoes is a bit pale.
I think a problem with this image is the flash you used. There are a lot of reflections on the tomatoes and peppers. The fg is quite bright - for me too bright.
This image could use some more contrast to compensate the flash and the reflections a bit - at least in my opinion.
Your focal point seems to be in the centre of this image - therefore it is not that interesting, it is so usual. Maybe a different way of cropping might make this a bit more interesting.
But for me the main problem is that there are too many things on the plate to be seen in this shot. The viewer can hardly concentrate on one thing and there is no guidance through colours or contrasts for compensation.
Sorry to be that harsh but from your gallery one can say that you can do much better.
Kindest regards, Britta

yummie!!! I love salads, specially the colored ones!

Although Britta is indeed a bit harsh I think she is right.
Maybe you can use a smaller aperture (higher F-number) next time, so the whole of the image will be sharper and the flash will reflect less. Maybe this way the colors of the tomatoes will come out better as well.
I'm not sure if it would help to use a polarizer filter, but you can try...?

About there being too much in the image as in too many different colors and textures... I don't agree... sometimes a picture can have a lot of information and a lot of different colors.

Bon apetit to you all.

Cheers,
Anneke
