[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pomegranate (Rimon רימון in Hebrew, plural: Rimonim) - in our garden.

A prickly cultivated shrub, deciduous in the winter, with large orange flowers and sizable red fruit. The pomegranate doesn't grow wild in Israel, and does not grow naturally from seeds. All the pomegranate trees around the country are remnants of abandoned orchards, and can be found growing in the Mediterranean hilly regions on limestone soil. The pomegranate blooms in March-April and flowers appear in May. Sometimes the flowering can last until June. The fruit reaches its full size in the summer, but reddens and ripens only at the end of September.

Hi Tsilla,

A colorful macro of the Pomegranates, they look so fresh and beautiful.
The green leaves associated with them, enhance the beauty of the shot immensely. Among other great features, are the sharpness and DOF, which are very well managed. I like the great use of the light here. Informative note is always a plus point. Great work!
