The Old city of Acre (in Hebrew: Akko עכו) is one of the fascinating old cities in Israel. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rich in history, spanning from the Greek periods, this ancient city has fascinating points of interest as well as a charming location along the Sea. Acre is well known as one of the main Crusaders cities.

In the old city there are 4 Churches and 2 Monasteries, which serve the different Christian sects. Most of them are built over Crusaders time churches, such as St. John (in this photo) which was built over 12thC St. Andrews.

Hello Tsilla! Wonderful architecture. Good POV and capture. Perfect exposure. Nice frame. Well done!

Nice view Tsilla - well exposed and strong colour.. I'd like to visit all of these places, so much of interest..

I find the image quite pixellated - for example around the top of the towers. The definition isn't as good as it should be. I'm wondering if you're oversharpening after resizing. How much of a factor do you sharpen by?

Cheers
DAvid

Bonjour Tsilla.
Magnifique réussite et un point de la prise de vue parfaitement choisi pour composer cette belle image de bord de mer.
Les couleurs ont une clarté magnifique et une excellente transparence.
Bon week-end.
Urs

Hi Tsilla,
Great POV, the natural tones seem to stand out in the mid-day sun. The people down the bottom really put everything into perspective. As David has mentioned, the sharpness could be a bit better managed, but I still like this for the most part.

TFS,
Scott.

Wonderful view to this beautiful landscape with outstanding architecture, Tsilla, my friend!
I agree with David on the optical quality of the picture but overall, this beautiful work hides the minor problems with the picture.

Very well done!

best regards,
Paras

Hi Tsilla,
A nice postcard from Acre with this wonderful bastion protecting the city!
Beautiful architecture of the city nicely taken from a wonderful POV.
Maybe it's oversharpned but it doesn't distruct too much!
Good shot!

Francis Xavier
