[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was an experiment for me on a weekend off from the dig just outside of Amman. I focused my camera on the subject in the mirror but pointed the hand-held flash at the subject and snapped. Only later did I realize that, if I studied the picture closely, I could make out the ghost of another friend behind the subject.
In the workshop you will find a reposting with several of the changes made. I look forward to hearing what you think of the changes.

Hi Silke!
Welcome to Tl!
I really enjoy the lightning in this shot because it creates a mysterious mood!
Congratulations.
Luci

Interesting idea of photographing this friend through the mirror and getting the shadow of someone else in the mirror. As you were at an angle to take this picture, you are a bit of distortion that could be corrected with a post-processing software. Also I think that the wall is a bit distracting so I would have tried to take only the mirror and use its frame as the frame of my picture. Otherwise, it is a neat idea and a good experiment. Well done & welcome to TL!

a great idea! The point of view and the colors are perfect for the scene.
I would have cropped maybe on the left bottom, but it is just minor.
Well done!

Hi Silke,
I think that you realize a good experiment here! Original idea. I like the contrast between dark and clear tones. It gives a special mood. I saw your worshop and you given more value with it! Bravo! Annie

Hi Silke, I really like this one, very warm and nice colors, I think maybe I would have cropped a bit more.

I like a lot this one in your gallery ! :)
Love it like it is, spontaneous and moody !
Sylvie

Ghosting? The one in first plan seem to not care about the strong sun... Not usual for ghost :)
I like the way it like a huge frame
It's after this impression we understand it's a mirror. THat's original for that funny aspect!

Dear Silke,
I saw your photos. Many of them are very very nice but the best of these is your last picture.
Good idea and I like it. I like spiritualism and this photo is!
For me ofcours. It is interesting composition.
