[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Petra Jordan is by far the best known tourist attraction in Jordan and is considered a national treasure. Now a UNESCO World heritage site, one of the ancient wonders of the world is located 3 hours south of Amman.

Established sometime around 6th Century BC the city of Petra Jordan was the capital of the Nabataeans. The city acted as an important economic crossroads for Persian and western Arabian trade routes.

The Petra site reached new heights of fame when it featured in a 1989 Hollywood film, Indiana Jones and the last Crusade starring Harrison Ford and Sean Connery. Petra tours by night offer a uniquely magical experience as 2000 burning candles lead visitors through the underground rooms to the treasury.

Simply amazing that the texture and color of the wall carvings on this monument. You have captured this view in good light control using natural opening as frame and showing good sharp details. Very good documentary work.

Strking contrast betwen the B/g and f/g. It almost looks like its a bit of torn out painting. Brillaint POV once again.
