| Climbing to the high places of sacrifice, looking back towards the monastry. The monastry is a exact replica of the better known treasury building. It is reached by a 60 minute climb (less if you are a bit fitter!). |

Hi Cerys,
I like this shot the varying shades of the sandstone are nice. The details are great and the shades of colour nice.
Regards
Jon
Strange site TL if such a fine picture like this one got only one comment! Or maybe you didn't take the trouble to vote others photos... (:-
Anyway I find it superb, very sharp and with excellent colours.
The composition is very engaging with at least three grounds distinctely separated and the profile of the hill almost in diagonal. You really deserve my compliments! (:-
Best wishes for the New year,
Donato
Hi Cerys
Stunning POV used and capture of this awesome building. Nice sharpness and clarity achieved. Awesome.
I have posted a few photos on TL of my journey through Jordan, including the "Rose City" - Petra. Check them out sometime.
TFS on TL,
Martyn
Nice capture. Placement is perhaps a little too centralised and there seems a little much surrounding landscape and detail, detracting from the magnificence of your subject, but overall this works well.
