[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The great Temple of the Sun was about 49 by 88 m (about 160 by 290 ft) and contained 58 Corinthian columns, each 22.9 m (75 ft) high and 2.2 m (7.25 ft) in diameter. The entablature was 4.3 m (14 ft) in height.

The temple appears to have been built on an artificial mound of earth, with great stones, or megaliths, employed to sustain this mass.

Of these megaliths, three are in position at the western end, one of them measuring 19.5 m (64 ft) long by 4.3 m (14 ft) square.

Hi Moncef,
Very good POV of this huge monument. Well composed picture with nice contrast and colours. I think you could try a 'self-workshop' with some lens correction in order to reduce distortion. But that's not signicant at all, it was only a suggestion :)
TFS, regards,
Kristof

I like the idea, but in order to really make this a fine picture, it needs to be composed a little differently (and to be a little bigger)
My suggestion would be to crop it so that the columns are more to one side and more vertical. I have been there, so I do know that hey are a little more perpendicular than you have pictured them here.
Please do recrop and repost. This is too fine a place to be shown as less than perfect

Hi Moncef,
A simple but striking composition. Nice contrast of the pillars against the blue sky. Your POV emphasizes very wellon the height of it too.Wonderful capture.

hi Moncef

Good capture of this temple, in the old glory days, this must be a center of focus and I can never imagine Lebanon also comes with this culture of influence, except by way of your photos.

tfs, bill
