I went to a secluded place of Salalah in Oman a few days after my trip in Rome for detox. I woke up very early morning, opened my eyes to a cloudless sky and heared the arabian sea lapping the sandy beach... I was alone. It was very peaceful, a great place for reflection & relaxation...
and then the huge mutant turtle came!
The serene beach was filled w/ terror!
RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!

see the WS to see the real size :)

Pp: superimposed my pet's photo, erased, masked, created shadows in color mode, resized, sharpened, & framed, then put the remaining claw layer & flattened.
PS: I also superimposed the birdie photo for contrast of scale :)

Hi Alfred,
Did you say "terror"?! Has that got anything to do with "Freddie"?!
I find this combination very good. The turtle looks great there. The colors, detail and sharpness are perfect.

Outstanding creation, Alfred. very well composed. I like the way you have framed the image. It would make a nice postcard or an appealing graphic for a vacation brochure.

Jervic mentioned a bird in your picture. From your response to his comment, it seems that you are not seeing it. Look on the bottom left corner, in the wet sand. Even though it is small, it should be cloned out. Smile.

Daniel

excellent..
wat else can word define this 1!

Hi Freddie. Excellent creative work by superimposing this turtle to make it look very large. Good clarity and colours. TFS. Murray.

Wow that is scary Freddie!!!
Good PP work.
Regards Mark

Excellent job done here and creative immagination, bravo!!!

this is such a great shot with good pp work ! very nice idea to put it on the beach

daniel

Interesting idea. very well thought of, composed and presented. Never thought Oman had such beaches....looks beautiful. A job well done.

Hi Fred!

This is a masterpiece

Very creative. and i love how you placed that turtle's foot along the frame.

Almost a Jurassic park sequel.

Congratulations.

Gotta go, nee to add this on my fave list :)

This certainly is a very creative shot with the turtle and bird on the beach. My compliments to the post processing work. Well done.

Very clever PP work, Freddie. You've got the angle perfect and I like the foot coming out of the frame to really bring this monstrous creature to life. My only slight criticism is that I think you need to change the lighting on the terrapin to match the light on the beach. If you increased the yellow in the terrapin layer a little to give a more "sunny colour" and put a very subtle spotlight effect shining down on his back I think it would be even more realistic. Great job though!

Best regards from England,

Rich

Hi Fred,

:))))

What a giant!! I'm not going there, for sure.
-Nice and funny creation.

Without looking at the turtle, it's a wonderful picture, with some deep view in it.

Cheers,

good idea- good quality- I like it
