| This is the ceiling at the main lobby of the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar. Designed by famous architect I.M.Pei, the Museum sits at the reclaimed land by the water in the Al Corniche area close to the old Souk (Market) in Doha. I was fascinated by the play of the natural light as it bounced thru the different facets of the domed ceiling much like what you see in a diamond. Handheld shot and no flash. |
