[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pamukkale - Turkey
Pamukkale has mineral springs that have been in use for thousands of years. Calcium rich waters spilling from a hilltop spring are responsible for creating white stone basins. The "cotton castle's" terraced basins hold in the 102 degree F water, and, up until the 90's you could just walk up and jump in. No more. Hotel development and irresponsible tourism around the springs choked the water source and the basins reverted to a dry, dingy, gray. Now, their luster has returned, but you can only walk on carefully laid out paths around the site.

Hi Tsilla

Really attractive as a thumb, I thought it was really cotton or snow, but it turned out to be something really fascinating.

What a fascinating place Tsilla and you captured it well.
Great POV and wide shot showing the surrounding area.
Well done.

Hi Tsilla,
Very nice place, stunning landscape. It's really good that you included some people in the composition, that's a good scale. Soft colours, beautiful, natural shapes. Great job! TFS:
Greetings,
Kristof

HI Tsilla,
as I see you also visited that wonderful place - and several years ago like here you were able to walk around that place - now you only can walk or bath at some special basins - too much damaged ther in history - but I see you also wrote this in your note.
I like your shot, very pretty, thanks and greetings
