Kurdish children, their very 1st photo
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
(Please note : as I wrote in a new update in my intro, because I am not enough regular on TL and as I'll return abroad very soon : I'm totally done with the "points" system on this site... Again, NO RATINGS, PLEASE !)
Photo taken in the high altitude Kurdish village near Eleskirt (Horasan, Agri).
These cute but rather shy kids had been following us for a long time in the village, Adem my 12-years-old guide, his friends and I, so in the end I proposed them to pose for me but they seemed rather intimidated first.
Now that I know a bit more of photoshop, I'll repost the whole sequence of 6 photos, the first of them being this one and you can see other photos from the same village here.
Unfortunately, almost all the photos that I took during that travel were in the smallest format, something that I regret now... |

Hi Catherine, interestingly, I can see the Greek lines in these children. I saw a show on tv about Alexander's conquest and the subsequent settlement by Greeks in the East area as he went all the way to India at one time. TFS Excellent cultural photo.
