After viewing posts from people like you and others on TL, I would like to visit Turkey and see all the nice people and landscape scenery for myself one day. It looks to be very interesting place for photography, with so many attractions.

This is a great capture of the ligh+shadow effect to show the mood of statue under the warm sunlight color tone. Very good exposure and use of the tree and statue as silhouette. Good composition.

A very strong, focal silhouette, set against a beautifully, toned, amber sky. I love how the shadow is spreading towards the f/g; it adds more of a dramatic quality.

The silhouetted statue makes a fine centrepiece, in this superb sunset. Gallipoli & Anzac Day are remembered here in Australia, soon (25 April). There are similar statues, in almost every small town throughout Australia, commemorating the sacrifices made by soldiers during the war. It's funny how former enemies, can become best of friends. Superb sharpness, & tfs!
