(In a village near Ardahan, not far from the Armenian border, east Turkey)
Traditionally, the fire place is at another place and the aliments for cooking are kept in another room. Not every kitchen is equiped with such a sink ; sometimes, the cleaning of dishes is made on the floor.
The laundry machine is present in almost every house, even the poor people are often equiped by a (sometimes, second hand) machine.
