a noble animal beautiful picture

The sky is washed out, there is a lack of sharpness throughout and the general exposure seems wrong.

For bright, sunny days try the "sunny f16" rule - it should help in snaps like this.

Also, the composition feels wrong. The horse is too small in the frame and it is generally better to have a subject look across the centre of the image, rather than out of the frame.

In addition, there is no photographer's note.

Merhaba my friend

Merhaba Burak

I like the yellow vs blue colour contrast, between the fg wildflowers & bg blue sky. Adequate sharpness. I would try to place the horse over on the right, on the 1/3 axis, so it has 2/3 space to face into, & move to the left. Good that you did not centre it, though. Tfs!

Bom dia B.O
I like the composition and the frame.

I think that the suggestion of Chris is very good.

Hello Burak,
I viewed this photo already this morning, just after you posted it, and my first impression was that there was something wrong, especially with the colours, but I wanted to check it first on an other (better) monitor. I now see that I must stick to my first impression.
I also notice that, in the meantime, a lot of things have been said about this photo, but that, unfortunately, you don't appreciate the most interesting of all critiques, the one Richard wrote. We all know that he is quite "direct" in the way he critiques people, but just try to look behind that. After all, he gave you a critique AND suggestions in order to improve your photography (the motto of TrekLens).
And to give is to love, isn't it?
That's why I decided to give you my view. The colours suffer from over-exposure, indeed, which makes them look artificial and dull. I think you could have easily diminished your aperture in order to let less light come into your camera (f/8.0 instead of f/5.6). Richard made an interesting suggestion about the sunny f16 rule, but if your camera (like my camera) cannot get such small apertures, just underexpose a little and you will see that your colours will be much richer.
Another solution in order to "mask" the weak colours could be to turn this picture into black & white and to enhance the dark tones a little. The horse would really pop out in that case.
There is a minor composition issue as well, but I think it only is of secundary importance, compared with the overexposure issue.
Just my view, of course. Feel free to (dis)agree ;o).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

The composition does look different but rules are made to be broken The colours and scenery are attractive TFS I have done a workshop I hope you like
warm regards
David

hello Burak,

lots of things have been said about this picture.. to me i find nothing wrong with it.. to me this is beautiful.. i certainly like the contrast of green and yellow.. the sky is not bad either can still see the small hint of pale blue colour in the sky.. i see some bad shot more whitewash than this and nobody critique about it..

if they really know what camera you used they should know that your setting cannot push to 'sunny f16'(whatever).. even my camera is up to f8.0 only.. some cameras have limited setting.. they only critique base on the picture.. they don't look deeper than that.. so you have to make the best of what your small camera can capture for you..

practice make perfect.. keep on shooting my little friend..

regards, terry

Merhaba Burak,

Harika bir çekim olmuş, ama atı çerçevede sğ tarfta kalacak şekilde kompose etseymişsin çok daha harika olcakmış.
Emeğine sağlık.
