9-8-2006: Burada anlaşılmayan bir iki nokta var sanırım. Platformun ucuna varmak 14-15 adım kadar, geniş açı kullanımı nedeniyle daha uzak görünüyor. Makinanın timeri kullanıldı ve 10 sn. sonra çekim başladı. Platformun urta kısmındaki netsizlik dalgaların plastik platformu kaldırıp indirmesinden. Uç kısmın hareketi daha az ve daha uzakta olduğundan kısmen iyi netlik var.

August 9, 2006: I suppose there are a few points that are not figured out. It's only

14 to 15 steps to the far end point of the pier; due to wide angle it is seen

further away. The out of focus area in the midst of the pier is due to its heaving

over the water. As there is less movement on the far end of the pier, that part is

relatively sharper.

So let me guess - in the 15 sec exposure you set the camera going, walked to the end of the pontoon, and stood! So the blur was the moving pontoon ...?

Nice shot Recep, look like a very lonely and sad photo, I like how you have a blurry bit in the middle of the walkway... good choice of colours, thanks for sharing.

Love the sad mood of the picture. Beautiful grainy BW, the blur of the platform is definitely a plus, it adds an oneiric dimension to your shot.

This made me smile. I could just image you setting the timer and running so fast to get to the end of the dock. I like the motion blur on the dock. Just wondering something though. As this was a 15 second speed, how come I don't see 'ghosting' of your body along the pier. Just curious.
