Standing Strong; Breaking Down

I'm standing strong, I'm breaking down,
This rusted bullet to my head.
I'm broken and I'm fading now,
Your love, will leave me dead.

I'm strong on the surface,
Though not all the way through.
This bullet piercing my skin,
All because of you.

Your only advice to me;
Stand strong, but I'm only breaking down.
Without your loving touch to cure me,
My heart can barely make a sound.

I'm drowning in all this darkness,
Please don't let me die.
I may be broken but I'm standing strong,
You'll never see me cry.

So I'll hold my head up high,
As my walls come crashing down.
I'll stand here waiting,crumbling inside.
Being strong, the only way I know how.

Everybody's fooled by this fake smile,
But deep inside I cry.

No tears will escape from these eyes.
