[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am still studying human reproduction in biology lesson. It is so difficult. I can’t understand many terms. I want to believe that the story “The stork brought you to us.”. This is more easy.
Anyway, I also thanks to my dad for title and medical informations in this image.

Ovary
An ovary is an ovum-producing reproductive organ found in female organisms. It is often found in pairs as part of the vertebrate female reproductive system. Ovaries in females are homologous to testes in males. The term gonads refers to the ovaries in females and testes in males.

Ovaries are oval shaped and, in the human, measure approximately 3 cm x 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm. The ovary (for a given side) is located in the lateral wall of the pelvis in a region called the ovarian fossa. The fossa usually lies beneath the external iliac artery and in front of the ureter and the internal iliac artery.
Each ovary is then attached to the Fimbre of the Fallopian Tube. Usually each ovary takes turns releasing eggs every month; however, if there was a case where one ovary was absent or dysfunctional then the other ovary would continue providing eggs to be released.

Ovaire
Les ovaires sont les gonades femelles, ce sont eux qui produisents les ovules. Les ovaires sont au nombre de deux et font partie de l'appareil reproducteur externe des femelle; ce sont les homologues des testicules mâles.

La plupart des oiseaux n'ont qu'un seul ovaire en fonction ; les serpents en ont deux, l'un en face de l'autre.
Les mammifères (dont la femme) possèdent deux ovaires situées de chaque côté de l’utérus et la paroi du bassin. L'ovaire est le seul organe posé dans la cavité péritonéale sans être recouvert de péritoine.

Ovário, em todos os seres vivos com órgãos diferenciados, é o órgão onde são produzidos os gametas femininos - tanto nos animais como nas plantas.

Os ovários são as glândulas sexuais femininas.Eles têm uma região medular rica em vasos e a cortical, onde se localizam os folículos. Eles têm a forma de amêndoa, medindo até 5 cm em seu maior diâmetro e possui uma espessura máxima de 1,5 centímetro.
Sua região medular contem numerosos vasos sanguíneos e regular quantidade de tecido conjuntivo frouxo, e a cortical, onde predominam os folículos ovarianos, contendo os ovócitos.
Jajniki
Jajnik (ovarium) – jest narządem parzystym, występującym u samic zwierząt i u ludzi. U dojrzałej kobiety ma kształt spłaszczonej elipsoidy o wielkości 3×2×1 cm. Jajniki leżą wewnątrz jamy otrzewnej przy bocznych ścianach miednicy na tylnej powierzchni wiązadeł szerokich macicy, do których przywiązane są za pomocą krótkich krezek. Górne bieguny jajników objęte są przez jajowody. Jajniki służą podwójnemu celowi – wytwarzaniu komórek jajowych oraz wydzielaniu żeńskich hormonów płciowych, estrogenów, progesteronu i inhibiny.
Od chwili osiągnięcia przez kobietę dojrzałości płciowej (pokwitanie) aż do wygaśnięcia jej funkcji rozrodczej (menopauza – przekwitanie), tj. przez okres około 35-40 lat – co ok. 28 dni dojrzewa w jajniku tzw. pęcherzyk Graafa, zawierający komórkę jajową. Dojrzały do pęknięcia pęcherzyk ma średnicę około 1 cm, a komórka jajowa około 0,2 mm. Gdy pęcherzyk pęka, jajo dostaje się do jajowodu, a z pozostałej części pęcherzyka powstaje ciałko żółte, którego wydzielina jest konieczna dla umożliwienia wszczepienia zapłodnionego jaja w śluzówkę macicy.
Estrogeny są wytwarzane w ciągu całego życia kobiety, progesteron zaś produkowany jest jedynie w okresie dojrzałości płciowej i to wyłącznie w drugiej połowie cyklu miesiączkowego oraz w czasie ciąży.

El ovario (lat. ovum, huevo; gr. ooforon) es la gónada femenina productora y secretora de hormonas sexuales y óvulos. Son estructuras pares con forma de almendra, con medidas de 1x2x3 cm en la mujer fértil (aunque varía durante el ciclo), y un peso de unos 6 a 7 gramos, de color rojo grisáceo, fijados a ambos lados del útero por el ligamento ancho del útero. Los ovarios femeninos son el equivalente a los testículos masculinos.
