[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Kıyıköy is a town of the district of Vize in Kırklareli Province in northwestern Turkey. It is situated on the coast of the Black Sea. It became a municipality in 1987. The population of the town is 2443 according to the 2000 National Census.

Fishing and forestry are the main ways of living in addition to tourism in the summer. The town has a small beach. The area surrounding the town is covered by dense forests of mainly oak. Two rivers, Kazandere and Pabuçdere, surround the town in the south and the north. They both flow into the Black Sea. These rivers are suitable for fishing, boating and swimming.

Kıyıköy, Kırklareli ili sınırları içinde yer alan, doğal güzellikleriyle öne çıkmış bir sahil kasabasıdır.

1987 yılında belediye olmuştur ve 2000 yılındaki nüfus sayımına göre nüfusu 2443 kişidir.

Karadeniz kıyısındaki bu sirin kasabanın etrafı ormanlarla çevrili olup Pabuçdere ve Kazandere dereleri de Karadeniz'e bu kasabadan dökülmektedir. Yöre halkının geçim kaynağı balıkçılık ve ormancılıktır. Dünyanın en eski taş oyma manastırlarından Aya Nikola Manastırı buradadır. İstanbul'dan günübirlik turlar veya geziler için uygundur.
