Avian Influenza (AI) or "Bird Flu" is a highly contagious viral infection which can affect all species of birds and can manifest itself in different ways depending mainly on the pathogenicity of the virus involved and on the species affected.


Laboratory tests conducted at Turkey’s national influenza centre in Ankara have confirmed an additional case of human infection with the H5N1 avian influenza virus. The case is a 4-year-old boy from the district of Dogubayazit in Agri Province in the eastern part of the country. An outbreak in poultry began in the district in December 2005. The child developed symptoms on 5 January and was hospitalized on 13 January. He is being treated at a hospital in Erzurum Province.

That presentation is clever! I admit at first time, i imagines it could be reaaly on a wall with a lamp under with the corect angle... Would be an original source of decorum... But forget the idea... Eggs at the piece's temperature... Not so good :)
At least we have your original shot to give an idea of what it like!

This is just a joy to look at and fun for the eye and brain to work together to make sense of it. Wonderful idea.

Here in the UK today (Feb2007) a case of bird flu has just been found and thousands of turkeys have been destroyed to control it.
