While i was just trying to take Bosphorus scenery in sunset, my husband was looking to these seeds so close and telling me how the shape of the seeds desinged for flying and going far so easily with the wind; he holded it just before the sun. And i took the shot.
This time we blowed off the seeds before the wind :)

* Adjusted levels
* USM
* First i cropped it in a square framing, then i decided to put it in original way.

Nice shot Elif. I love the reflections of the sun on the fluffy ends.
Just one personal remark: I would have kept the subject slightly off centre. But this is just nits picking.

Bonjour.
Quelle belle prise de vue bien maitrisée !
Il est vrai que le sujet serait juste un peu décentré, la photo serait meilleure.

Very nicely done, Elif. I am like everyone else and wondering if a less centered composition would have worked better but then as is it looks like the sun itself so I think in this case the centered composition is fine. I really like the effect of the sun viewed through the seeds and you have captured some nice details in the seeds. Well done!

Hi Elif,
Stunning colours and simplicity. There is absolutely nothing to distract you in the background.
Very well done,
Jako

Hi Elif,

I adore the reflex in the center
of this flower, she is wonderful,
I see the colors in their petals
below as a rainbow.
Beautiful presentation!
Congratulations

Nefis bir görüntü Elif! Tebrikler

Hakan

I like your choice of POV here. The edges of the flower seem to be glowing. Nicely done.

Elif!

This is most surprising photo of this flower I've ever seen. And I've seen lots of them - but never against the sun letting the sun rays flow through the seeds. The silhouette of the stem top stays in perfect contrast with the halo of the seeds or (better) parachutes of the seeds :) Wonderful, moody photo. tfs

Çok güzel kompozisyon Elif. Değişik bakış açısı .

Beautiful capture, Elif. Sharpness is not too great, but as "everything" was handheld that's very hard, of course. I love the colours here, PoV with the sun obscured by the plant so its rays create a wonderful light is great.
I'd crop this from the left, avoiding the totally blurry tree (I think?) so the subject would be off-centre. IMO a square format would not really work here.
TFS.

this realy is a great shot Elif

Hi Elif,
it was a very clever idea to shot this flower from the bottom, against the sky. When I saw the thumbnail I thought that this was an underwater picture of medusa lol. Congratulations!

Hi Elif,
What a great shot, from the thumbnail I thought it was two people under a big umbrella. I really like the POV, to get the distant background and the light shining through the seeds. Beautiful.

Adrian

Beautiful photo Elif! The backlighting of the dandelion and the out-of-focus background are perfect. It almost looks "other wordly." Awesome image!

Astonishing! THis is a no-words one... It speaks and sings for itself, like a nightingale in that sunset. And no, it's not symmetrical in the center because it's not a regular shape - so it's perfect just the way it is! Those puffs... wow! :)
Bebe

Very good backlighting. The details of the dandelion are also good. Well done.

GASP!! Beautiful! So soft are the colors. THe lighting is so deep and mature. I love it, Elif!!

With the sun behind i agree the resut is fantastic!
the impression he get it's own liminescence is excellent!

BRILLIANT!

I've taken so many shots of these fluffy things (sigh I don't even know what they're called, I just know they randomly grow in the garden!) anyways, this was/is such a fabulous idea! The sunset seems to transform the plant into a gypsy's crystal ball, waiting to tell us our futures! :D

To go even further I love the plain background, it's perfect in this case, it does it's job perfectly, it just fills up the picture and passes all of the attention to the plant! :) All very well done Elif!

Congratulations.

Biance.
