Good to see you again, Elif, and I have certainly missed your pictures. Nice portrait (or is it a self-portrait) but I think you are right that it is a bit tight at the top or you could consider cropping more from the top. I do like the pose and the hand holding tight on the blanket or shawl, the eyes closed, the hair and the head looking away creating quite a mood. I really like the light on your face & shoulder and you picked a nice background to contrast against the skin & the red of the shawl. Excellent!

the lighting is very interesting and it is indeed soft . There may be too much cropping ?

Very nice self-portrait, Elif! I do not mind the tight crop at the top. The light is well balanced. The whole image has a great sense of movement. Well done!

ismi okumadan baktığımda, kırgınlığının ifadesi olarak bir şeyi reddetmek istemese de geri çeviren birisini gördüm bu karede. ismi okuyunca, evet kurguladığınız umutlu bekleyiş de var.. demek ki, bir şeyi istemeye istemeye reddeden birisine aynı şeyi tekrar tekrar önermek gerekli, zira bu öneriyi umutla bekliyor.. :) düşündürücü bir kare.. topuz saç ve kırmızı şal(?) bir parça flamenko kokusu yayıyor...

belirttiğiniz gibi kadrajın üst bölümü istem dışı kesilmiş olsa da alın bölgesinden kesilmiş portrelerin, taşıdıkları tema hakkında düşünmeye yönelik bir çağrı yaptıkları duyumunu ediniyorum nedense.. boşlukları siz doldurun misali..

iso 400 için noise yok denecek kadar az, renk dengesi yerinde, ışık ve gölge uyum içinde.. EGSe..

good lighting n IS0 400 was good choice
cloned out spots....hmm
i can see a black beauty spot on right :)

Pose is excellent, light beautifully placed too. But I'd prefer more space on top (showing all of the head) and on the left, Elif. If it's a sp and you set it up all by yourself, I'll forgive you for the space ;o)). If it's a model, you should definitely have used another frame.
Just my opinion, of course. I'm glad you didn't oversoften the skin.

Beautiful girl and very well lighted, Elif.
I'm not a portrait photograph, but as a man I like to point to the bones of the shoulders, Ask the models to stretch their back so the bones are not sticking out.

If you saturate your lips and sharp the eyes section it will be a 9.5

Great job Elif and I think it is wonderful the way it is. As others have said the light is beautiful, the pose dramatic and has movement...emotion. The lines, shapes and shadows created by your profile, hair, shoulders and neck line are oustanding and very pleasing. Excellent choice of colors Elif. Great job on a difficult task.... the hardest thing about dramatic self portraits... the pose and position in the frame. Just beautiful!

golgeyi ve isigini cok guzel ayarlamissin. bir de ustundeki ben kucuk olmasina ragmen kompozisyona buyuk hava yaratmis...
asla affetmem der gibi ya da birseye reddetme rolu cok iyi oynamissin... aslinda artist olabilirdin... :)))
