[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I know this isn't a good photo. I took it with my old camera, which was just crap, and at that time I didn't know the slightest thing about photography. Yet, it was the best holiday I'd ever had. I remember walking at the beach in the rain, drinking beer at one of those little shabby restaurants facing the sea, and trembling with cold (but not minding). It was all joyful.

Cirali is my favorite place on earth. I never get tired of looking at this view. Whenever I go there, I feel carefree and peaceful. When I'm away, I miss Cirali just as I miss a lover. This is an amazing place especially in fall and winter, with almost no one around, rain, gloomy clouds, Mount Tahtali looking over the beach, endless lullaby of choppy waters, poetic orange trees and the indescribable smell numbing all my senses. An irrational sense of well-being embraces me almost like euphoria and I don't care about anything else but just being there, existing, breathing, cleansing my soul. I calm down and forget everything. I go there 2-3 times a year, sometimes more. The moment I take the left turn to the place from the main road, I feel relaxed, excited and anxious to get to the village at once. Whenever I feel down and out, feel the blues, feel exhausted, fed up and sad, I want to be there. I need to be there. And I need to be there right now.

I've seen more stunning places, far more beautiful views, more fascinating spots, but none has made me feel like this. And the time I took this photo is the best mini holiday I'd ever had there because of the stormy weather and the gloomy mood. That's why, although they are far from being good, I want to post one of the photos I took. I hope it's not an eyesore to you. )))

Slm Fusun,

Hos bir kadraj, dalgalarin olusturdugu kopuk ve sahildeki insanlar kompozisyonu guclendirdi... havanin kapali olmasi makinenin eskiligi nedeniyle netlik ve isikte eksiklikler var :)

Hi Fusun,

If I take picture in this condition, it may get the same result, but I can't feel the happiness as you get.
It's well captured how rough the weather, both clouds and waves are not friendly.

Thanks for sharing the image and note.

Cheers,
Tjutjut

Selamlar Füsün,
Ben oradayken bu kadar bulutlar yoktu:)Harika bir yer ama!!!Ellerine sağlık.
Deniz:)

Merhaba Fusun, I love the notes, they remind me of many winter holidays spent in South Australia. I find nothing major with the quality of the image and if provides you with memories so be it. Well composed and lovely misty colours over the mountains. Impressive seas and good foreground detail. I too offer a workshop and TFS,
David

merhaba fusun hanım;
güzel bir kare gerçekten...dalgaların sahile vuruşu ve geri dönüşüyle insanlar iyi bir figür oluşturmuş tebrikler selamlar

Hi Fusun,

Very dramatic landscape! I would however prefer this to be presented or cropped in a more landscape manner. Whats for focal length for this one? Some contrast adjustment is also needed. Thanks for sharing.

Allan

En iyi fotoğrafın olmayabilir ama görüntü etkileyici, ws haliyle çok daha iyi.. aydınlatıcı not için de teşekkürler Füsun..

Merhaba Fusun,

A mood is well depicted in this beautiful composition. Tidal waves are taken nicely. Fine details and good light which is rightly managed for the climate. Well done.

Thanks for sharing this image.
