The Fiat 124 is a large family car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat between 1966 and 1974. It was the replacement of the Fiat 1300 and Fiat 1500.
The 124 was introduced by being dropped by parachute from a plane and instantly won critical acclaim, including that year's European Car of the Year award. It was praised for its spacious interior, advanced coil spring rear suspension, disc brakes and lightweight construction.
Power came from a 1.2 L (1197 cc) Fiat OHV straight-4, producing 65 hp (49 kW) and 70 ft.lbf (95 Nm).Also 124S with 1438 OHV engine and 124 ST with 1438 and 1592 Twin Cam. The basic 124 saloon also spawned the Fiat 124 Sport Spider, and Fiat 124 Coupé, both sought after 1970s classic cars. A stretched and more luxurious version of the 124 sedan known as the 125 was also launched in 1967.
Production of the Fiat 124 ceased in 1974, paving the way for the Fiat 131 Mirafiori, although the Lada version continued until 1984 (1986 for station wagon). Production by Fiat and Pininfarina of the 124 Spider continued until 1985.

My family had two fiats when I was growing up in Italy. They had a classical feel to them...ok...this was in the 1990s. Now they look modern. One of my fiats caught fire hahaha (don't worry no one was hurt but we had to ditch it there) and the other one we sold to a collector. I wouldn't recommend these cars if you want a really really dependable car but they're good and fancy. The new ones I've heard are a lot better, so I'm talking of past models.
I like your pov here, the crop is really good and the lighting is really interesting. My only complaint: the lack of detail. You focused on the bright part of the hood where the light doesn't allow us to see the details. The wheels are out of focus and the front part of the car is too dark to really be able to discern anything. I would just work on the focusing part a bit. Otherwise, I really like your photo! Great idea.
