His name is Yusuf Ozkur, 77 years old, living in Gaziantep.
Gaziantep is one of the modern provinces of South-Eastern Anatolian Region and also one of the oldest of Hittite origin. Being the center of pistachio nut cultivation in Turkey and with its extensive olive groves and vineyards, Gaziantep is one of the important and industrial centers of Turkey.

Hi Sezai,
I don't usually comment on portraits but this is so perfect that it's hard not to say 'well don'. The colouring is nicely subtleand the POV is nice and oblique but it's the pose of the cobbler at his work with all his equipment surrounding him that grabs the attention. It also reminds me of my own father who used to enjoy repairing our shoes when I was a child. A truly beautiful portrait.
