Taken in Abu Dhabi shortly before I left there for Singapore, this is a fairly unusual shot of the city - it's raining!
Doesn't rain a lot in Abu Dhabi.
This shot was inspired by similar ones I've seen here, so I lay no claim to originality - but at least I'm learning...!
Shot through the windscreen of my car while I was waiting for the mrs to get back from Starbucks. That's usually a long wait... |

You know I often wondered how people in that region get enough water, even for their basic needs, surrounded in dry deserts and a dry cliamte. I guess they buy it from neighbouring countries, such as Iran.
This is a very nice shot. I just dont understand why some photos (including this one unfortunately) are even smaller than what TL allows. Thanks for sharing.
