Quo Vadis? (Where to?)
Quo vadis is a Latin phrase meaning "Where are you going?"
The phrase's context is used in a literal or metaphorical sense when an individual has left or is leaving for a long time and/or distance.
-Wiki

So... Where are you going next? :)
We travel for pleasure... for work... for loved ones, etc...
In this image, DXB=Dubai; FRA=Frankfurt
I flew to Dubai via Frankfurt from my birthday vacation in the US east coast last March-April :)
I'm now in the Philippines to dodge the hot Dubai summer :)

Composition:
This is my first attempt in full B&W conversion. I'm happy that there's not much color so I wasn't hurt in the B&W conversion :)
Exposure Time: 1/30
F-Stop: f/2.8
Focal Length: 7300/1000 mm
Metering Mode: Pattern

Pp work:
1. use clone tool to erase some of my name
2. desaturate
3 . create border and overlap using selection and layering
4. sharpen and resize

Quote of the Day:
"It is part of the photographer’s job to see more intensely than most people do. He must have and keep in him something of the receptiveness of the child who looks at the world for the first time or of the traveler who enters a strange country. Most photographers would feel a certain embarrassment in admitting publicly that they carried within them a sense of wonder, yet without it they would not produce the work they do, whatever their particular field. It is the gift of seeing the life around them clearly and vividly, as something that is exciting in its own right. It is an innate gift, varying in intensity with the individual’s temperament and environment." -Bill Brandt

Well Fred to answer your posting's question - I'm going to San Francisco today - be back Monday. Will drive not fly.
Great B&W of a simple object well recorded. I need to work on that skill. I miss the obvious stuff.

dan

Yes, I like the idea !
I'm no fan of the frame, I think it can do without, but just an opinion.

" Quo Vadis ?" well I'm staying home too ;-)

See you !

Jan
