The famous Atrium of Burj Al Arab (Tower of Arabia),
the tallest atrium in the world :)
I got the chance to see it one more time before I leave Dubai for another trek in life. I was treated by one of my friends for a Buffet at Al Iwan, on the main floor of Burj Al Arab. The buffet costs around 100$US/pax :)

This is an SMS message from Jumeirah, a company that operates the Burj Al Arab. You will receive this text if you book for a Buffet or dinner in one of the restaurants HERE. Prior to entry, you'll show this to the gate keepers, 280meters from the hotel entrance. The gate will open and a retractable bollard wall (the same width as the road) would be lowered so that it is at the same level with the pavement, then you will drive along the curving viaduct/bridge to reach the hotel :)

The restaurants of Burj Al Arab:
1. Al Mahara (The Oyster)
2. Al Iwan (Buffet Dining)
3. Majlis Al Bahar (Al Fresco Dining)
4. Al Muntaha (The Ultimate)overhanging restaurant
5. Skyview Bar (Spectacular View)
6. Sahn Eddar (Afternoon Tea)
7. Bab Al Yam (Relaxed Dining)
8. Juna Lounge (Stylish & Intimate)

Hi Freddie,
What an amazing structure, with such unique architectural details. Great composition and crisp colors, and a dizzying POV. What time is blast-off?...grin. Well done!
Karen

Great POV and artistic composition Freddie.
Reminds me of some of the frractal artwork I do.
An excellent illustration of fractal geometry in architecture.
Nice one.
Steve

amazing picture...
i really like the colours, symmetry and sharpness in this photo.

You didn't stay there when in Dubai? The duplex suites are pretty impressive aside from the tacky decor and the bizarre mirror over each bed. Seems the whole place was used as an expensive knocking-shop for the locals juudging from the number we saw with Russian and Chinese "friends".

Found the hotel to be pretty over-rated to be honest, like much of Dubai and the Emirates.

Hi Fred.Beautiful photo, beautiful building and nice composition.
Best regards, Bosko.
