Thirty Seven years ago was when it all started.
The birth of a great unity between our emirates.
Thirty Seven years ago, a path through achievement, ambition and effort to improve started off. A union hard work and accomplishment, crated by the vision of a great and wise man, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (Allah y7amh, may his soul rest in peace), a vision of unity and hard work, that of course with Allah's blessings and guidance, got this country to great success.. and inshAllah coming success in the future.
Thirty Seven years ago this place became more than just a country but a great union and a home for its citizens, visitors and foreigners, to everyone.
Thirty Seven years ago is when a great history started, and we celebrate it with pride and gratitude today, and look forward towards the future and what will come. Still holding on to our traditions and values to making this a better place.
We all need to be extremely grateful and appreciative, to what has happened Thirty Seven years ago, that resulted in what has become today. May Allah bless this country and its people ya rab. (say 'ameen') =)
I'm not Emarati, I'm a proud Egyptian, who is also proud to be referring to this place as 'home'.
Being born here and living here my entire life, being with the lovely people of this country, considering each other family and friends, having the experience of my entire life time, made me feel how grateful i am to be brought up and raised in such a warm society. And consider this place to be my home, as much as I consider Egypt to be my hometown as well.. and maybe even just little bit more. ^^

heheh! just the only proper shot that i found in my archive..
Shot this one at last year's national day event..
and i had no chance of attending this year, cuz of the lovely amount of work and studies they give us in school.. -_-
anyways.. so ya..
just posted it to wish y'all in UAE a great year ahead! and a great national day celebration.. (although my post is kinda late, the day is almost over..) but its the thought that counts =)
and just wanted y'all to know how valuable this place is in my heart.
