after four sunrises and three sunsets of our stay in fujairah, i failed to capture these moments by the sea.
why?
because we felt lazy getting up or staying up too late during our short escapade.
we weren't able to swim by the sea due to occurence of red tide in the area and some dead fishes were scattered by the shore. instead, we visited the breakwater near our hotel and took some seascape shots during mid-day.
i used hoya ndx400 filter/cokin soft grad combo, mounted on a tripod @ iso 100 with 15mm focal length. raw converted to lightroom, post-processed thru photoshop, usual sig and uploaded to tl.
it's been a while... thanks for viewing. |

Hi Jeff,
Yes I have that early morning inertia as well!
I like this shot, particularly the softness and the almost lack of horizon gives it a feeling that there is no limit to the scene, that the ocean could just go on and on forever.
Excellent choice of settings to produced the motion around the rocks.
