You'll get people happy to critique this Vincent if you don't stick large chunks of text all over it. You don't need to do this...

As for the photo it's very over exposed. Your camera should have a HISTOGRAM function on it when you display the photo on the screen at the back - check that for exposure. I would suggest that you do a google search on the histogram and what it means for digital photography. Start with that..
