Almas Tower (Arabic: برج الماس‎ Diamond Tower) is a supertall skyscraper under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction of the office building began in early 2005 and is expected to be completed in 2009. The building was topped out at 360 m (1,200 ft) in mid-2009, becoming the second-tallest building in Dubai, after Burj Dubai. Almas Tower will have 74 floors, 70 of which will be commercial and four service floors.

Taken at 42nd floor of our newly built tower
its a dusty afternoon at that time but i beleive it add some flavor on this photo...

Nice and impressive architecture picture.Great bird eye view giving us a good sense of the perspective.That is a very interesting picture to keep as an archive before the construction is finished.This is a beautiful tower.Good notes.Thanks for sharing,

Very good capture!
This image is a also a documentary photo!
The position of this beautiful building in center of the image works finely in your composition. I like the long shadows at its feet and the incredible beauty of the sky well enhanced by the dust, indeed. Superb work! Annie

Hi Lysander, Very clear symetical photograph of this huge tower. The clear blue sky makes an ideal backdrop. I like the gold-coloured effect of the glass towers. TFS. Murray.

A little small still - have you not downloaded 'BD sizer' yet?

Nice shot though - very symmetrical shot but the subject suits this well! Nice colour with the evening light..

I've got an apartment in 'Lake Terrace' where my daughter lives - the whiter building just to the left of the big one!!
