[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello all !
haven't been around for a while, still busy.. surviving senior school life.. xD
was working on this photo in my free time...
i shot it long time back.. but made a few adjustments to it just recently..
this is an old film Zenit ET that had belonged to my grandfather, who passed it on the my father, who had passed it on to me, on my 16th birthday along with all the lenses and the flash and everything, its pretty cool actually, old but very nice to work with, i still didn't shoot much photos with it.. never got the chance.. but I've seen its impressing results from my father and grandfather.. planing on using it as soon as i can.. =)

PP: adjusted levels and contrast, black and white with red filter, and slightly increased color temperature, added very slight grain, cropped a bit, framed and resized for TL

I think it still needs to be adjusted a little, its looking kinda crooked to me.. i got lazy to straighten it after i finished.. =P

Hope you like it, please let me know what you think, suggestions are very much appreciated.

this is a good attempt. the light is good and so is the crop.

however, there are certain weaknesses, but they are minor and can be addressed :)

although it's NOT IMPORTANT, but may i suggest you get yourself an olympus e420 or e450 camera? i am not their brand embassador, but i do believe that its a camera that is really afordable and comes with two lenses :) small in size :) and gives very good results :)

it makes photography more fun :)

bus as far as your zenit is concerned, try different color films with it :) you will love the results :)

for starters, keep your shutter speed at 1/80s or higher :) that wont allow camerashake to occur :) play with your aperture values :)

once you've gotten enough 'sharp' handheld shots, start playing with aperture :)

am so glad u got this camera :) i had one too, my dad bought for me, but i've lost it :(
