Back to my normal style of ultra wide shots and associated distortions!! Down towards the Dubai Marina during the evening 'Blue Hour'. Nice that the weather is cooling down and I can get the gear outside again!!

RAW, dust spots cloned out and resized,,,,

15 seconds at f14, ISO100 and 10mm focal length.

Edited to add that this should have been saved at nearly 300kb - checking it full size from the gallery I see that the image quality isn't great and the file is only 112kb!! Will have to check the software workings here.......

Hi David,

Wow! Fantastic sharp and colorful perspective in full wide glory! Just for the record....looking at this image gives me Vertigo- and that is the best compliment I can give you-very effectively captured and TFS!

Very impressive POV with a perspective at 90°. Nice light (the blue hour is an hour for the photographs !) and the spots of light give a rythm to the composition. Very well done !
Best regards
John

Hi David,
a great way displaying the towering skyscrapers - a good title as the building on the left is horizontal to the frame
cheers

Hi David,
very nice capture of the high rises. a few people on the street would have added some life to the photo. That is not a complaint, just an observation.

Hi David,
Missed this one....great POV which makes these building appear higher than they are. The clarity is excellent even like the warm nocturnal colours. Superb posting David!

N.B The horizon appears to be tilted! ;-)

Bonjour David.
Urs

Hi David

A dramatic low shooting angle, with wonderful warm cold colour contrasts, between the yellow & blue. Good sharpness, & well managed distortion & wide angled perspective. Tfs!

Hi David...nice shot...great perspective and night exposure.
