[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in the bluish haze of Marmaris again.
This time, an anchored ship.
PP: adjusted some levels, in 'colour balance' added some more blue (not too much) - midtones and highlights; neat-imaged, framed, resized.

I am sorry for not being able to answer to your comments and giving critiques lately, unfortunately that is due to my internet connection which is horribly slow the last 2 days. I promise to catch up later!

Critiques [Translate]

Nice shot, Marija! The light is beautiful, and the pink reflection in the water is fantastic. Good composition as well, and good elongated format. If I have one little comment, it would have been to clone out the small white roof on the boat, as it creates a visual distraction. Other than that, excellent job!

Nice shot. So...so nice. Very good composition with the ship to the right and the shallow sky, as the water is so interesting with its reflections. It all looks good to me. Nice frame, too.

Look at those mountains - they're huge! The ship looks like something from a long time ago, and I enjoy the blues and pinks. Nice compo, too.

I am not certain why you have not been getting more comments on this one, Marija, as it is another very good one from you. The dominant blue with the little bit of pink on the right is really good. I also like the wide format you selected for this one. Well done!

Maria, I like your feeling for the sea. I can tell it has a special significance for you, i can tell there is love floating between you and the deep-blue, cause otherwise you could have not presented such mystical image here. Hell, as far as I am concerned, they should name that ship by your name :)

And to tell you the truth, I cannot make up my mind which part i like more: the iviting texture of the sea, the promissing distances of the mountains, the adventurous expectation of the ship or those redish remains of the dying evening sun.

I wish I could see sky, earth and water the way you do.

Speaking of which, one of Columbo's ships was named Santa Maria. There you go - the love-story between you and the sea goes way back in the past :)

If I haven't mentioned earlier blue is my fav. colour!! :)
I wish I could see more of that orange reflection on the water.. but that doesn't mean I don't like the photo without it :))

Another great photo of you Maria...you become one of favorites ;-) I like this kind of still lives pictures Maria. The ship in front, the mountains in back ground and with the less light gives moody effect. Well done!!!
