[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the same sunset ship the picture of which I already posted, but this time my camera's WB was set up to Fluorescent light. Not much PP here: autolevels, lightened just a bit using curves, desaturated the colours (they were too strong for my taste)...I didn't use USM this time as it gave an ugly glow around the thin lines.

I added a different version on this one as a workshop.

GREAT PHOTO, great colours really like the ship infront of the sunset it's very very nice, looks beautiful what a great moment to catch! well done Marija

the colors of the sky is beautiful Marija
good composition as well, but i hav to say i prefer the composition of the first one just a little more :)

Nice shot, Marija! I never think of playing with WB, but that seems to work here. The composition is a wee bit too centered, but you've put the horizon at the right place. TFS!

I also prefer the composition of your first one but the colours on this one are amazing. Maybe cropping a bit on the right to the other small boat would bring the main sailboat away from the centre. I do like how the sun is shining through the sails of the boat. Well done!

Lovely scene. What a great idea to change the white balance. I like the effect of the colours it has produced. Well done.

Great posting, Marija.
Good, strong colours and in spite of severe counterlight, sufficient sharpness of the ship.
Groet,
Joop.

Hello Marija... I do also like this version... Horizontal composition works well with elements of the composition... Using the Fluorescent light function is a good idea in sunset photos to catch real tones of the sky... Excellent... Thank you for sharing...

Hello,Marija! I prefer the color version! The colors are so beautiful! As mentioned by Tournesol,I would have preferred to see the big ship fall on the third of the image(you know that famous rule of the thirds!).But overal it is a very good picture that has a powerful visual effect! Well done! Michel

Well, that was an interesting idea - changing the WB! I'll have to remember to give that a try.

Lovely sunset. I think I like the compo on the other one better too, but this one is a beauty!

more of this, for the light, for the color and for the heat
Congratulations for his work, perfect

A BEAUTY, (*_*)

Hey u know what, I was about to do a workshop in B&W and then I saw ur workshop! :)

A very nice shot Marija...really stunning compo and the colours are amazing! I should try that PP one day too!

It's very difficult to get the exposure right. Did you use a manual setting for it btw? Thanks for sharing :)

Excellent mood created in this photo Maria. The tones you created with the WB setting on the camera, and the PP work compliment the composition very effectively.

Hi Marija

I like the graphism of the ship, against the colorful, sunset horizon. Superb color & silhoettes. Good work!

The photo is great. But every ship has it's story and i guess it's interesting...

Hi MArija,

This is a wondeful shot!!! Lovely lights great colours and very nice atmosphere.
Just amazing!!! Well done!!!!
Take care, Stef :))

Excellent colours enhanced by the minimal work in PP, beautiful composition (yes, I heard about the rule of thirds, but in some images - such as yours - central objects work beautifully).
Overall, it's a superb photo that should be framed for a gallery!
Well Done,
Shelly.

PS It seems you really enjoyed your holiday in Turkey and looking at those views I'm not surprised :))

Marija, I do like both photos, the Workshop and the one you posted. Both are expectacular. I would have probably cut or cloned out the small boat on the bottom right hand side. It is a bit of a distraction. Or perhaps you intended as such. Regardless, it is awesome. THanks
