wow.. another stunning composition from you my dear.. the use of both complementary and contrasting shapes is wonderful! and those hills are so beautiful... you should come and visit me here in Umbria where we're surrounded by magical hills like this :-)

Very nicely done, Marija! The simplicity really works, it makes the pic almost graphic. Only one small thing: there are some jpeg artifacts around the plant leaf edges. (Then again, many of my pics have that as well.) Good job.

Bonjour Maria,

Let me start by saying that your introduction made a huge impression on me. Especially the comment about the world being a big TL and hobby vs. life style. Ain't that the truth?!?
Not only your philosophy stunted me, but so did your portrait. :o)

I really enjoy this shot perfectly composed photograph. The palm tree, the not too much saturated colors and the DOF make this shot a pure delight.

However, the title raises a question. Where do we draw the line between minimalism and graphic?

A wonderful simple representation of the area. IMO commercial value (it would be the perfect image for a travel-agency brochure)

Very nice shot Marija! Oppoistion of warm colour in foregroud and cold blue in backgroud bring strong contrast. Yhe compoistion is also well chosen. I like it!

One of the best photos posted today. It's amazing how flat the picture becomes without the green leaves on right. Receding hills are great and the letterbox framing works very well.

Including the leafs is exceptional idea and turned an ordinary beach scene into real work of art. I wish the colour of the sea [small portion] was a bit more enhanced. Great work.

Here is a quality of photograph at which I would like to arrive. A great simplicity in the subject, a great elegance in the presentation. I like the repetition of the roofs of wicker with that of the mountains. Very effective composition. Congratulations! Annie

Tahaitian surfboards, which way to head?!
This is straight out of a Book for me and a well seen crop. The opposite colours playing with form in an uncluttered frame. Very appealing composition and the essence here is the insignificant soft white cloud that rimlights the hill tops. Well done Marija!

Great minimalism. You are expert like this shots. Its typical mountains of Marmaris scenery. Your POV is so great, very well seen really. Including the palm tree adds much taste to shot. Great shot with nice white framing.
And dont worry, Marmaris is province of Mugla city, you are right. :)

This is a fine image. The shape of the beach houses (or unbrellas) echoing the shape of the distant hills, the colours, the texture - all mix to produce a beautiful photograph.

Excellent game with hill tops and similar shapes that are repeating over and over! Colors are great, as well as the composition - that palmtree broke the compo in a very powerful way!

I don't know how I missed it. It is an amazing picture for the way it demarcates diverse colours and yet blends them to create a unity of theme. More than minimalism it is harmony that is the striking feature of your picture. And with your deft cropping you have truly managed to enhance this ballet of hues Marija. Brilliant - it is.
