Nothing really spectacular about is picture right? True, other than what symbolizes; TRUST and HONESTY. Simple concepts but all so rare in this day and age.
This little metal box sits beside a pile of fire wood for sale on a private property beside the road. You pick up your wood and put your money in the box and the transaction is done. No one is around to see whether you've paid or not.
Now if this isn't the embodiment of self service at it's most basic level, I don't know what it is. |

Firewood? It's summer in NA!!! :)
I like this photo but I think you've centered it a little too much and you seem to be looking down on it a little. Not a major point but just something to think about. There seems to be a lot of the honor system going on in my neck of the woods, except with vegetables.
Anyway, a basic shot, nice and focused. Good find...
BTW, is that Canadian or US dollars? :)
