[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This kite has been in the tree beside my house for about two years now, and since it's bright red, it stands out quite a bit in the winter. So one day I decide to take a picture of it, and as I do so, an elderly couple walks by. The man says to me:
"That must have been one sad little kid"
"Sorry?" I say
"The kid who got his kite stuck up there"
I paused for a moment, debating whether to tell him that in fact it was my kite and that it was stuck there because despite my wife telling me it was far too windy, I tried to fly it anyway and lodgied it firmly in the tree the week we moved into this house.
"Yeah" I said "I bet he was pretty upset alright".

Great POV. The colors work well for this idea.
I would have cropped a little more off of the sky (but that's just me). Prefect title as well.

this works very well with the blues contrasting the red kite. the winter trees just add to the mood. well done
